Last week I had the pleasure of photographing baby Asher and his family. The pressure was on (self-inflicted, of course), as Stephanie is a fellow photographer!

The late afternoon light was giving me a moody kind of feel for these photos. I love the way they turned out. Hope you enjoy!

I didn’t shoot a ton of Asher by himself, Stephanie has shot millions of those already! She was hoping for lots of good family moments…

This hat was a beautiful gift, but Asher thought it was a bit too warm for hats that day. I think this is one of the only shots I got of it still on!

And then he threw up some baby sign language…I LOVE YOU!

Jaclyn and Alan will be getting married this May at the Old Post Office, one of my favorite venues! We met up at Tower Grove last week to capture the very early tulips and cherry blossoms! Looking forward to your wedding in just a few months!

I’m so excited to finally share these photos! A while back I got to photograph the lovely Miss C., as a gift to her future husband on their wedding day. Their wedding finally happened this weekend so I finally get to show them off! C. was a joy to shoot and I even broke out of my comfort zone a little and used off-camera lighting for a majority of the session.

Susan and Kevin were married on March 10th, which ended up being an absolutely gorgeous late-winter day! Susan’s dress was beautiful and she was oh-so photogenic! Personal details from their day included a special locket from Susan’s grandmother sewn into her dress, a cup and patten from her uncle, and even a special song performed by her grandfather and entire family! I loved working with this couple because you can tell how much Kevin loves her. You can see it in their natural interactions below :) Enjoy!

Hey everyone! I promise the days of only 2 blogs per month are nearing an end! It’s almost spring and I am itching to get out and shoot lots of engagement sessions, weddings, and families! I’m currently knee-deep in album designs and ordering new sample albums as I’ve recently switched album companies. Lots of good stuff coming this year!
