In the last year or so, I’ve started to get a bit of baby fever. And then when you photograph babies like Miss Sophia here, it’s only gonna get worse! I met Sophia and her mommy at Oak Knoll Park the other morning…and she was so cheerful and smiley!

Her mom had her laughing and smiling all morning :)

She did so well with her little headband…but here it’s almooossst coming off…

We got a little frilly in the tutu for a few…

And then went au-natural…

Her foot cracks me up here…she didn’t want it to touch the grass too much. My 1 year old niece Kaitlyn also really dislikes grass!

She was a little too small to enjoy the playground…so imagine our surprise when she decided to climb all the way up the slide (with a little support, of course)

When you’re watching a baby grow up, time can really fly…case in point…my niece Kaitlyn, is already turning one this month! She and I both have very big birthdays coming up, just a week apart from one another…I won’t say what mine is, although most of you know :) Griff and I headed to Ohio for the 4th and of course I squeezed in a shoot of Kaitlyn. She is seriously the most well-behaved, sweet natured, happy baby I’ve ever met.

She has a range of expressions…

I was finally able to meet up with this lovely family this week after a few attempts were cancelled due to terrible weather. We still had clouds but that was okay! Miss Daisy just turned one…and she is so darn cute.

We got frilly for a few and played around in the wild flowers!

I’d love to post more but it’s currently 4 am. Why am I up you ask? Well…I have a snoring beagle upstairs coupled with the fact we haven’t turned on the air yet…so I’m up but only half-awake :)

My dear niece Kaitlyn turns 6 months next week, so while I was home for my dad’s birthday fiesta we did a quick photo shoot. She gets cuter and cuter every time I see her, and it makes me sad that I don’t get to see her more often!

The weather was dreary but got up to about 50 degrees…so we ventured outside…

Sitting up got hard, so we resorted to a boppy chair…

And then near the end, we decided to try a swing. Kaitlyn LOVES her baby swing at home and often sleeps in it for hours! She did NOT feel the same way about the park swing. Most of the time she looked petrified…
